An evening of exploratory, genre-blurring sound lands at MoshPit Bar on May 7. Doors open at 7pm, with $10 entry for a night that moves from freeform improvisation to intimate songwriting and deep, tension-driven soundscapes.

Kicking things off at 8pm, We Have Cats deliver their uniquely Australian take on improvised music — a freeform double bass trio weaving unpredictable textures, rhythm, and movement in real time.

At 9pm, the Rosemary Sisters — the duo of Renee and Skye — bring a more intimate energy, blending voices and presence into something raw, warm, and captivating.

Closing the night at 10pm, NOF step into the unknown. Partly written, partly discovered in the moment, their set leans into repetition, tension, and space — where improvisation isn’t just a tool, but the foundation.
