Lower Energy Prices for Ivan & Park Streets - Launch Event

This project is exclusively for renters and owners in Ivan Street and Park Street between St Georges Road and Bennett Street, North Fitzroy.

We will provide some finger food - BYO drinks and BBQ food.

Our aim in this project is to dramatically reduce household energy bills for homes in Ivan and Park Street as a pilot for wider adoption in the City of Yarra.

In the coming months we will be working with renters and owners in Ivan Street and Park Street to

• Establish a baseline of current household appliances, transport and energy sources and costs

• Work with you on priorities for adopting efficient electric appliances, getting off gas and improving thermal efficiency

• Provide assistance with input on quotes, suppliers, lessons learned and connections with neighbours who have already electrified and can share their experience

• As the project progresses, report on progress and document the impact of our collective work.

• Publish a guide for similar community based projects in the City of Yarra.
