LIGHTS OUT is an immersive pop-up cinema experience with three very different movie nights...all in one day.

Each one takes you back to a different time in life. Recreating three different generations of movie nights.
It's our way of reimagining movie nights and bringing people together through stories and shared memories.

Because movies weren't just something we watched, they're some of our favorite memories. Lights Out brings those memories back to life.

We're also proudly raising funds for Dementia Australia

🏰 Pillow Fort Pictures: How To Train Your Dragon + build a pillow fort

First, we go back to being kids. You'll build blanket forts together before watching How to Train Your Dragon, just like the movie nights many of us grew up with.

Perfect for those who still believe a blanket can become a castle.

📼 VHS & Vino: The Hot Chick Movie Drinking Game (18+ only)

Next, we rewind to the 90s and early 2000s.
Friends grab a drink, share pizza, laugh together and play a movie drinking game while watching The Hot Chick.

Perfect for those who know the best part of movie night was never just the movie.

😱 Silent Screams Double Feature: The Cabinet of Dr. Caligari & The Fall of The House of Usher

FT Live Musicians Sahul Sakti

Finally, we travel back to where cinema first began.

You'll experience two silent horror classics The Cabinet of Dr. Caligari and The Fall of the House of Usher with live musicians performing the soundtrack just as audiences experienced over 100 years ago.

Perfect for those brave enough to let silence do the screaming.

LIGHTS OUT:

Every generation remembers movie night differently.

But every generation remembers movie night.

Movies never just lived on the screen.

They lived on lounge room floors.

Inside blanket forts.

On worn-out VHS tapes.

In late-night conversations.

Behind the couch during scary scenes.

In the people beside us.

One unforgettable day. Three screenings. Three generations of movie nights.

Because the greatest stories were never confined to the screen.

They lived in us.
