To celebrate National Recycling Week, we're hosting 2 FREE recycling and waste reduction workshops – one in English and one in Mandarin.
Light refreshments and a small giveaway will be provided.

Monash recycling rules
Compostable liners and how to use them correctly
Bin repair and replacement services
Practical tips for reducing household waste
What happens to your materials once they are collected
Simple ways to move towards a plastic-free lifestyle
A guest speaker will also share practical strategies and everyday solutions for reducing waste at home. Light refreshments and a small giveaway will be provided to participants.

Please note that the car park outside Glen Waverley Library and the Ibis Hotel is currently closed.
Free parking is available at Bogong Car Park, 5 Bogong Ave, Glen Waverley. View the map.
The event is also about 6 minutes' walk from Glen Waverley train station.
About National Recycling Week
Established in 1996, National Recycling Week raises awareness about correct recycling and encourages practical actions to protect and improve our environment.
It will be held on 9–15 November 2026.
