Human Relations Paper Development Workshop 2026
Description
The workshop is an opportunity to submit work in progress and receive developmental feedback from the Editorial team of Human Relations. The goal is to develop ideas and working manuscripts with a view to later submission for review at Human Relations.
The morning workshop provides a rare opportunity to get the latest insights from Human Relations editorial team on how to publish in the journal, upcoming special issues, etc. In the afternoon, participants with accepted proposals for future submission to the journal will receive developmental feedback from the editorial team of Human Relations.

Time: 9–12 Plenary; 2–5 Paper Development Workshops for accepted papers

What to expect
A plenary session from members of the Editorial team on publishing in Human Relations
Thematic breakout sessions led by Human Relations Associate Editors and other Australia-based Associate Editors, providing structured feedback on pre-submitted manuscripts
A focus on theory development, positioning, and methodological refinement
Ensuring alignment with Human Relations
To get the most from the workshop, please consider how your work aligns with the aims and scope of Human Relations, which publishes interdisciplinary research advancing our understanding of social relationships at and around work. Please keep this alignment in mind when preparing both your extended abstract and your manuscript.

Once accepted, you will receive further information about the afternoon workshop in your PDW acceptance email.
