Human Short Film Fundraiser
Description
Important update and program
**I'm having trouble finding a second affordable Auslan interpreter, so at this stage only speeches will be interpreted.
I am still looking for a second interpreter and will update you if that happens. So sorry to tell you less than one week out from the show.
If you are affected, please get in touch so I can work out how to make the event more accessible for you. I’m also happy to offer you a refund and free entry to the event.
**I'm so sorry, I forgot to say, anyone who needs support from another person in any way will be able to have them in for free, companion card or not. Please ask for a refund if you have bought a ticket for support.
**Unfortunately, Themme Fatale won’t be able to make an appearance due their health.
**There will be event photography and a live video stream of this event. If you do not feel comfortable being on camera, notify the door or support person.
**Livestream instructions.
The livestream link will be in your inboxes on Thursday 26 February. Let us know if you have not received the link by Friday.
If you are watching from the livestream and wish to purchase a raffle ticket or enter into the Bachelor Auction on the day, information can be found in the livestream bio.
If there is an issue with the livestream, comment on the video and we will see. If you are unable to comment send Vic a text at 0419 245 612.

I am putting on an amazing event to raise funds for my short film Human, that takes a deep dive into the ugliness that is ableism. https://www.sampetersen.com.au/exhibitions/human
The aim of this event is to raise the needed funds to make this film happen, and simply because it's fun. There aren't enough disability/covid conscious events for us, by us.
There will be some incredibly talented musicians, djs and artists performing, alongside a raffle and extra fun things to be announced later.
There will be food and beverages available for purchase, as well as an incredibly stacked merch table for you to buy all the amazing, custom, Human merch.

This event is wheelchair accessible with accessible toilets on site, (no hoist on site but if you require one please contact us and we can hire one for the event).
Interpreting for the event will be provided by Expression Australia.
Feel free to contact us about other accessibility requirements and we will try to accommodate them.
There will be N95 masks available at the door and in the Interests of managing a safe and respectful space, Mask Wearing for everyone's health is encouraged if possible. There will be air purifiers along with an outdoor area and the large doors which span across a whole wall will be open (weather permitting) to promote air flow.
Some people cannot wear masks for legitimate reasons. Do not police each other, but mask up if you're able to keep everyone as safe as possible.
