HUMANATURE is all about connection, cultivation and celebration. These core values permeate our festival, and our intention is that you feel our care for you in all the small details!

Structure:

HUMANATURE is heavily inspired by Confest, where nature becomes a playground and there are ample spaces to learn and explore movement, art, craft and connection.

Our daytime sessions will feature minimal amplified music, giving participants the chance to explore the various workshop spaces on offer and deepen their relationship with embodiment, dance, play and expression. 

At 4pm, we gather around the fire for a communal meal. 

Friday night will feature a Synaptx takeover on the mainstage, offering a groovy selection of dub and bass music. Music will end at midnight, giving us all the chance for a good night’s sleep.

Saturday, the music will go deeper, darker, more hypnotic, before moving indoors for a raging house party. We believe seeing the sunrise together to be one of life’s greatest treasures. On Saturday night, music will go all night, bringing us back outside Sunday morning for a special sunrise set on the mainstage.

Sunday will be a day of chill rest and recovery, with easeful activities, live jams and a bodywork exchange. We want our community to feel refreshed and enlivened after our event, not drained and depleted.

Our vision is to intentionally cultivate all the beauty it is to be human - our creativity, our wildness, our vulnerability, our strength, our playfulness and our capacity to care for one another.

And we want to have a fucking good time doing it.

Our hope is that what we create together doesn’t end when the music stops, but ripples outward into the way we live, create, relate and care for the world around us.
