Event description

Welcome to the first event of an exciting new movement we hope you'll be a part of.

'Never before have digital tools been so responsive to us, nor we to our tools' (H James Wilson and Paul R Dougherty).

In this critical moment of change and evolution what are we taking with us into the new world and what are we leaving behind? How can we be active participants in shaping our realities and the future even in the face of exponential change? Let's ride the wave of change together and be at the forefront of human potential enhanced by the technologies we have created.

This is about creating a platform for coming together, learning, being inspired and sharing our skills and knowledge with others. Ultimately, it's also about using those skills and knowledge for working towards goals that encourage the well-being of the planet, society and individuals.

Each event we aim to bring you a new guest speaker and facilitate open exchange of ideas and skills.

Format is as follows

  • Show and tell. Open floor for sharing discoveries, projects and processes involving AI. What has worked and not?

    • Some of our crew members will model this for you this time, but we'd love you to show and tell at a future event, get in touch with us with your ideas of what you'd like to share or hear about.

  • Guest speaker.

    • This session are thrilled to have Clayton Cross joining us. Clayton is an AI consultant and runs the School of Hope teaching coding and tech literacy to over 200 students in Uganda.

  • Personal project play time. Share some down time with one or two other buddies discussing your upcoming/current projects or anything you've taken from the session and want to start exploring

  • Networking and snacks. Get to know each other, birth ideas and debrief.
