    Event description

    Hey humans, happy 2024 🥳

Our first potluck for the year will be talking about all things electric vehicles, and how democracy can (and should) continue to innovate to respond better to the needs of the people.

Anyone with an interest in social impact is very welcome to join us.

We're also stoked to now have a virtual option for those outside of Sydney who would like to listen into the talks remotely (grab a virtual ticket below).

    So, w
    hy potlucks?

Humans For Good potlucks are an opportunity to connect with likeminded humans in the way we have for thousands of years: over a home-cooked meal. They're here to provide a casual, inclusive and cosy space to explore different global issues and how we can all be working together to do a little more good for people and the planet.

Rather than a networking event, each potluck is an experience that is co-created by the community, for the community. Whether you bring a meal, share your story, or help us keep things running smoothly, everyone contributes something toward making the night memorable and impactful.

The night begins with chats over dinner, and ends with a time for storytelling by guest speakers from Humans For Good

    A few more details –

📍  The potlucks take place at a NY style loft at 19-23 Wellington Street, Chippendale, Sydney (any issues with finding the location, call Tharun on 0439 705 284)
🥘  If you can, bring a dish to share! (make sure to label for allergies plz 🙏)
🎟️  Tickets are $10 each to help us cover renting the space and some drinks at the event! We don't want this to stop you from coming though, so there is an option to pay as you feel or opt out if that doesn't work for you
💰 In 2024, our potluck donations will be directed toward microloans for underserved entrepreneurs, via Kiva. As a community, we'll be empowering and unlocking capital for borrowers around the world. You can lend as little or as much as you like via Humanitix (we'll deposit it for you), or directly via the Humans For Good lending team page

Who will be sharing their story?

After dinner, we'll be having fireside chats between a few good humans and social impact leaders in our community:
