The Humbuckin’ Pickups will bring their “Roots Drenched Folk” sound to venues all across Australia in 2023 to support
their newly announced third album "Just Like Winter". The 2021 Troubadour Foundation Award and Maldon Minstrel
winning outfit build on their first two offerings with a record that is filled with imagery of rural and regional
Australia. Their music is filled with the band's distinctive string accompaniment and four-part harmony. Wielding guitars,
dobros, banjos, double bass and mandolins the quartet will draw you in with their love of storytelling through
music, their humour and their four-part harmony
JB Patterson
JB Paterson is a roving blue-collar songwriter and producer. Inspired by traditional folk & blues music, appropriating ancient melodies with a strong focus on lyrics performed on guitar and piano. Compared to songwriters Neil Young, Townes Van Zandt and Bob Dylan.
JB recently achieved #1 Album of The Year by ‘Songpickr’ and landed a cover and 5 page spread in local music magazine ‘The Stew’.
