Hummingbird Workshop
Event description
Hummingbirds are our smallest native birds and ones we all love and enjoy. Come to a workshop at Bush’s Pasture Park on Thursday, July 17th at 2pm to learn more about this special group of birds. We will learn about the types of hummingbirds that we have in Oregon, and some of their habits, we will learn what we can do to attract them to our property all year long. We will look at types of feeders and talk about how to make your nectar and how to maintain your feeder. Then we will each make a hummingbird feeder to take home using recycled glass bottles. Children are welcome as long as they are accompanied by an adult.
Hosted by Mission Street Parks Conservancy at the Bush Barn Art Center Annex.
Enter through the Bush Barn Art Center Main Entrance, then head over to the Annex. Come a few minutes early and enjoy the artwork in the galleries!
