You, me and pickleball? It's a date.
We’re Humpday, the dating app for people who hate dating apps - six days a week.
We're teaming up with the National Pickleball League for the ultimate singles night with a competitive twist. Come down to The Jar December 18th and take your dating game from URL to IRL.
What can you expect from this event?
- Wednesday December 18
- Doors from 7pm, court kick off at 7:30pm
- 10 minute round robin games (doubles)
- Drinks courtesy of our friends at Malocchio and Naked Life
- Your ticket includes court and equipment hire
Anything else?
- This event is for singles - come solo or bring a wingperson!
- This event is for 20s and 30s
- Equal gender ticket sales to ensure a balance crowd
- You don't need to know how to play! We'll run through the rules. For the extra keen among us, here is your homework.
Humpday is a new dating app that only works one day a week - Wednesday - and focuses on (literally) getting you off the apps and out connecting IRL. We think being single is FUN and should be celebrated 💥 NPL is the premium Pickleball organisation in Australia - elevating the game to the mainstream - this is a match that promises a whole lot of fun 🥒🎾

Who is Humpday?
Humpday is Australia's newest dating app. Designed to get users meeting their match, IRL, Humpday has no swiping and is only active 24 hours a week - on Wednesday.
Who is the National Pickleball League?
NPL is the premium pickleball organisation of Australia. The NPL brand offers Australia’s professional national league, tournaments, corporate days, school/university programs, social leagues, events & introductory Pickleball days.
Humpday event policy
Humpday is purpose built to be a safe space for our community to form meaningful, in real life connections. By agreeing to this form and attending the event you are committing to be a “good person”. We want this event to be fun, inclusive and safe for everyone.
What does that mean?
Behave with kindness and respect
Humpday events are created with the intention of providing a fun and safe space for authentic IRL connection. We expect you to behave with kindness and respect, and lead with empathy, whilst engaging in conversation. Humpday has zero tolerance to the following anti-social behaviour:
- Making others feel uncomfortable, frightened or threatened through (but not limited to) bullying, harassment, belittling, intimidating, blackmail, emotional abuse, repeated unwanted conduct, encouraging violence
- Excessive alcohol consumption - please don’t turn up to this event drunk. We’re serious about authentic connection so if you are noticeably drunk, you will be turned away without refund
- Use of illicit drugs - just say no
- Physical or sexual violence, sexual harassment, sharing unwanted sexually explicit content or images, in-person indecent exposure
- Unsolicited commercial or promotional purposes
- Distributing or facilitating the purchase of drugs, alcohol, tobacco, e-cigarettes
- Hate based discrimination on identity including race, ethnicity, nationality, sex, gender identity, sexual orientation, disability, religion
Notice of Filming and Photography
Attendees consent to their filming and photography as participants to the event. By attending this event you agree to being filmed or photographed which may be used for marketing or promotional purposes. Showcasing the event and vibes in action is important for us to spread the word. If you do not wish for your image to be shown on social media platforms, please make yourself known on the day - we want everyone to feel comfortable.
