In December 2021, Minister Stokes was handed a new portfolio including Infrastructure, Active Transport and Cities. With Newcastle and the Hunter being included in the NSW Government's six-cities strategy, and the passage of legislation governing the new Greater Cities Commission, it is an important time for our business and infrastructure communities to engage directly with Minister Stokes as a critical government partner for our region.
