Event description

The University of Newcastle, in partnership with Business Hunter, is pleased to announce the second Hunter Nexus Gala dinner on 22 June 2022 at the Great Hall on the University Callaghan Campus.

The second Hunter Nexus will feature a keynote address from one of NSW most highly regarded healthcare service strategists and health industry growth leaders. As the Chief Executive of one of Australia’s largest public healthcare catchments, Michael Di Rienzo guided the Hunter New England Local Health District through the most challenging public health crisis in a century.

Hunter Nexus guests will hear key insights into the role Michael expects the John Hunter Health Innovation Precinct to play in the advancement of medical technology and healthcare innovation, underpinned by the research commercial nexus curated between the Hunter New England Local Health District, Hunter Medical Research Institute and the University of Newcastle.
