Hunter Nexus

Business Hunter in partnership with the University of Newcastle, is pleased to announce the next Hunter Nexus Gala dinner on 28 June 2023 at the University Great Hall on the Callaghan Campus.

The event will feature a keynote from Meg McDonald. Meg is Environment Commissioner with the Greater Cities Commission, member of the NSW Net Zero Emissions and Clean Economy Board, and Chair of the Governance Board for the Trailblazer for Recycling and Clean Energy. Meg will present on challenges and opportunities around the clean energy industry supported by a panel of eminent speakers.

The Hunter Nexus series is a forum for exchange and networking between regional business, higher education and community leaders. The event guests will include Alumni and academic cohort of the world ranked University of Newcastle and the members and contacts of the regions peak business policy and advocacy group, Business Hunter. The events create a nexus between academia and commerce.
