Bringing together local museums ​and history groups in ​Southern Tasmania

EXHIBITION Tuesday 7th - Sunday 12th October

TEN museums & history groups in ONE room
Kingborough Hub, 7 Goshawk Way, Kingston 
Hours: 10am - 4pm

CONFERENCE on SATURDAY 11 OCTOBER
​with 6 speakers, from 9.30am - 3.30pm​

Speakers will include:
* Andrew Tomes, who will talk about using eHive to manage museum collections.
* Warwick Lee will talk about the Tasmanian parliamentary papers
1856-1901 which have recently been digitised in a large project.
* Dr. Imogen Wegman will speak about the Family History programme at UTAS.

* Fiona Cameron from Volunteering Tasmania will be talking on the benefits of being a member of VT.
* Lara Colrain - Curator from the Channel Museum will speak on preserving artefacts, ​and author and historian Richie Woolley will also speak.

The exhibition is gold coin donation, and children free. Please register if you are coming along to the conference.
