    Join the Resilient Farming Tas team for the opportunity to learn how Andrew Smith (R&R Smith’s and Willie Smith’s) has diversified and built resilience in his business in a number of ways including plans to install a new dam, expansion into apple cider, and purchase of the rights to the apple variety Southern Bliss. 

    We will then:

    • Host a panel of business advisors and growers to discuss how to plan for risks and opportunities! Answer questions about topics such as succession planning, mental health, farm management, biosecurity, and more.
    • Run a farm business risk assessment workshop
    • Provide the tool do a risk assessment of your farm business
    • Provide time with experts to chat about issues and opportunities for your farm

    This farm tour and workshop is an opportunity to come and see what the Resilience Farming Tasmania project is all about: filling knowledge gaps, networking and identifying opportunities for your business and how to manage risks.
