Michelle will give you a glimpse into HUSH and the journey she took to unravel the unintended legacy of family secrets. Michelle will break the silence with a short Q&A revealing some of the learnings that came with writing this book.
Along with your tickets there is an opportunity to purchase your own copy of HUSH and have Michelle sign it at the launch.
Michelle’s first book HUSH is an intimate story of how she decodes the link between family secrets, unhealed trauma, and identity.
The book synthesises the fundamentals of current thinking and research into how inherited family trauma shapes lives.
It’s Michelle’s lived experience. She read the theory and the case studies which are at best a few pages on one issue. In HUSH Michelle gives the reader her life as a case study, using the theory to show how family secrets and intergenerational trauma left her single, childless and ashamed.
