Huxley & Friel - Debut EP Release

To celebrate the release of Huxley & Friel's debut EP, the duo are hosting a unique event of an extended performance featuring songs from the upcoming record, as well as premieres of new and original music. After nearly four years since the musical inception, Huxley & Friel are ready to capture some of the performances audiences have loved for many years.

The EP is a live-recorded cluster of well-known traditional bluegrass songs with their own unique twist performed on mandolin and guitar with their signature harmonies that increasingly define the pair as a staple of the Australian bluegrass scene.

Fresh off the back of Dorrigo Folk & Bluegrass Festival, Groundwater Country Music Festival, and some solid studio time, this night is the culmination of Huxley & Friel’s latest run of shows. Expect a bunch of new songs, plenty of tight harmonies, a bit of hot action picking, and probably a wannabe stand-up comedy routine thrown in for good measure.
