🗓 Saturday 19 September 2026
Meet at 8:00am for an 8:15am sharp departure

Please allow plenty of travel time, as we'll be leaving promptly at 8:15am and won't be able to wait for late arrivals.

Trail information:
https://www.alltrails.com/trail/australia/queensland/mount-coot-tha-summit-trail

The walk is approximately 5km return, with around 45 minutes each way depending on pace. We'll make our way to the summit lookout, stop for a coffee and enjoy the views before heading back down.

The hike is self-paced, so you're welcome to walk with others, split into smaller groups, or enjoy the trail at your own pace.

Afterwards, anyone who would like to is welcome to grab a coffee or something to eat nearby.

Please only register if you genuinely intend to attend. Numbers are limited, so reserving a place means someone else may miss out if you're unable to make it.

Please note: This is a casual community meet-up and is not a guided hike, organised tour, or professional outdoor activity service.

By attending, you acknowledge that you are participating voluntarily, independently, and at your own risk. Each participant is responsible for assessing their own fitness, carrying appropriate food, water and equipment, and making decisions based on their own ability and the conditions on the day.
