Candle lit paper lantern workshops for kids and families: in the Echunga Memorial Institute
April: 16, 19, 23, 24. May: 4, 11, 18, 25. June: 1, 8.
Come and learn how to make candle lit paper and willow lanterns. You can carry your lantern in the parade at the Hills Winter Lantern Festival in Echunga Saturday June 15.
Make pyramid, curved or original shaped lanterns to light.
2-3 sessions are required depending on size of lantern.
These sessions are suitable for Ages 8+ or younger children if parents stay and assist.
Limited spaces available so get in quick! We will be running workshops throughout the school holidays and every Saturday afternoon leading up to the festival date on June 15. Please note: this year we are running a smaller festival in Echunga
