HWY PITCH SESSIONS: Adapting stage texts for screen

Six artists, six ten-minute slots, six extant texts re-imagined for screen.

In partnership with Screen QLD, La Boite is excited to host the next round of HWY Pitch Sessions, giving six local playwrights and/or screenwriters an opportunity to pitch a public domain text-to-screen adaptation to SBS for consideration in Screen QLD’s RIDE Feature Film program.

Following a two-week intensive led by Screen QLD, the six pitching writers will have an opportunity to pitch their project to a panel of industry professionals who will give feedback live.
