    Event description

In a place where nothing is as it seems, does the black and white nature of shadows make things clearer, or only confuse them more? In Hwyl Theatre's minimalist take on Macbeth, be transported to a land where shadows dance and blur the line between reality and illusion. As Macbeth tries to seize his fate, is he the one truly in charge?

With an original score and beautiful costuming, our talented cast and crew brings Macbeth's haunting journey to the stage. Watch as ambition takes hold and darkness descends in a visually captivating and moving performance.

Macbeth will be staged at Lyttelton Arts Factory on the 9th, 10th, and 11th of November, at 7pm. On Saturday 11th November, there is also a matinee at 2pm. The run time is approximately 2hr 15m, with a 15m interval.

The venue is fully wheelchair accessible. Please be aware strobe lighting will be used in this production. This show is recommended for 13+ for graphic violence.
