Spectacular backdrops, stunning scenery and a vibe that can’t be beaten – it has to be the Meridian Hydro Half Marathon.

Spectacular backdrops, stunning scenery and a vibe that can’t be beaten – it has to be the Meridian Hydro Half Marathon and Mitre 10 Te Anau 10km 

With mighty Mt Titiroa behind you and the World Heritage Fiordland National Park to your left, the scenery will enthral even the seasoned runner.

Running under the snow-capped mountains, you’ll snake your way through sections of beech forest and alongside the crystal clear Waiau River before finishing up at picture perfect, lakefront Te Anau.

The course offers riverside and lakeside running, trails through native bush and small sections of road and 4WD tracks – there are also some undulating sections, with a maximum elevation of 240m

Refund policy

Refunds  Withdrawals up to 01 July 2024 will receive an 80% refund Withdrawals from 02 July to noon on 31st July 2024 will receive a 25% refund There will be no refunds or deferments after 01 August 2024 Entry Transfer- Transfer of a registration to another person is only available up to 01 August 2024, Athletes who have deferred into this event from a previous year, transferred into this event, entered through the use of a complimentary entry are not eligible for athlete withdrawal refunds. Cancellation policy- In the event of cancellation of the race due to any adversity, be it weather, flooding or any other force majeure, including restrictions due to Covid 19, the organising committee reserves the right to decide whether to defer entries to the 2025 event (after which point there would be no refunds), and/or to make arrangements for entrants to request an 80% refund. This will be communicated to all participants via email. Any request for a refund/ deferments/changes/transfers must be made in writing to events@teanauevents.co.nz and will incur a $20 administration fee
