HYG Album Tour and Farewell Show with Depressed Sexy

This is it. After 7 years playing in Canberra and around the country, HYG are calling it a day with an indefinite hiatus. We’ve got the privilege of hosting them for one last dance as they celebrate their debut album ‘Hopeless Youth Group’ and finish things off, with support from local favourites Depressed Sexy.

HYG have cemented themselves as Canberra’s leading psych-rock outfit. Having been booked alongside acts such as The Brian Jonestown Massacre, The Lazy Eyes and Party Dozen, the band continue to impress as a crowd favourite at their high-energy live shows around the country. On ‘Hopeless Youth Group’, HYG have refined their sound while capturing that raw, heady energy propelling them from the start.

Independent always, HYG have carved out their own niche within Australia’s psych underground. The debut album, ‘Hopeless Youth Group’ is out on August 7th.
