Athletes alternate working, with one athlete working while the other rests. Teams may divide the required calories or repetitions between athletes however they choose.

For the 2km Team Run, both athletes must run together and remain synchronised throughout the movement, maintaining the required team distance. Both athletes must cross the finish line before the team may begin the final movement.

The team must complete all movements in the prescribed order.

General Judging Standards

  • All repetitions must meet the prescribed range of motion, movement, finishing-position, and synchronisation requirements to count.

  • A judge may issue a no-rep whenever an athlete fails to meet the required movement standard.

  • For synchronised movements, both athletes are responsible for achieving the required positions at the required time.

  • If one athlete completes a movement before their partner, the repetition will not count unless the standard specifically allows the athlete to wait.

  • A no-rep repetition must be repeated in full before another repetition can be credited.

  • Athletes may pause to establish synchronisation where permitted by the movement standard.

  • The judge's decision regarding movement standards, synchronisation, and repetition validity is final.
