Hyphae & friends
Event description
Facebook event:Â https://fb.me/e/162bctb2T
This event takes place on the stolen lands of the Ngunnawal, Ngunawal and Ngambri peoples. We pay respect to Elders past, present and emerging. This land is stolen and colonial violence is ongoing. As settlers, we are participating in ongoing colonisation and systems that continue to violence and dispossess Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Peoples. Sovereignty has never been ceded. Always was, always will be Aboriginal land.
Free entry for First Nations Peoples always, please email freyamimosa@gmail.com
No one gets turned away for lack of funds. If you can’t afford a ticket, email freyamimosa@gmail.comÂ
Hyphae cordially invites you to our launch party: Hyphae & friends. We are Hyphae: connectors of mycelium, holding hands, picking flowers, rumbling bass, kissing, lichen, high fae. We bring you a space to dance, to branch and grow, to connect and to imagine; with safety, accessibility and inclusivity as our core. Selectors will take you for 30 minute treat sets of their weirdest, most joyous sounds. Artists will transform the dancefloor into mycelium playground, with four interactive installations and two pop-up stores. Hyphae & friends is for you: friends of present and future, so join us for the evening and welcome to Hyphae.Â
