Mark your calendars, the Maryland/DC Hyphen Retreat 2025 is almost here! This year’s theme is “Found Faithful.” Together we’ll dive into what it means to live faithfully in our walk with God.

DATES: Friday–Saturday, October 17–18, 2025

LOCATION: The Claggett Center, Adamstown, MD (3035 Buckeystown Pike, Adamstown, MD 2171)

GUEST SPEAKER: RICK LOVALL

We are honored to welcome Bro. Rick Lovall, Director of the UPCI Stewardship Group, to be with us. Bro. Lovall is a seasoned leader who has served faithfully in pastoral ministry, leadership development, and financial stewardship for many years. His ministry is marked by a unique ability to blend spiritual wisdom with practical insight, equipping God’s people to live with purpose, vision, and integrity.

As Director of the Stewardship Group, Bro. Lovall has been instrumental in helping churches and individuals align their resources with Kingdom priorities, emphasizing that stewardship is not just about money, it’s about living a life in faithful service to the calling of God.

We look forward with great expectation to the word and impartation Bro. Lovall will bring, and we believe his ministry will inspire and equip us to live more faithfully for the glory of God.

Rayne Libby will be leading us in worship! Rayne is an IBC alumna, worship leader, and songwriter with a heart to lead people in to the presence of God to experience His transforming power.

  Register at the door or check-in if you pre-registered and get your things settled into Powell Hall before we kick of Hyphen Retreat 2025!!!

• GENERATION TO GENERATION W/ PASTOR SEAN LIBBY

  7:30 - 9:30 PM

  Don’t miss this exciting general session, "Generation to Generation", with our district superintendent Pastor Sean Libby. This is going to be an awesome of time of inspiration, instruction and discussion.

• HYPHEN LATE NIGHT

  10:00 - 12:00 PM

  Following the Friday night general session, enjoy our exciting Late Night event with food, games, music, activities, and an energy bar at the retreat center.

SATURDAY, OCTOBER 18

• THE HOUR OF PRAYER

  7:00 - 8:00 AM

  If you would like to spend some time in early morning prayer, the barn will be open from 7 to 8 for you to come and seek the face of God.

• BREAKFAST

  9:00 - 10:00 AM

  Join us in the barn, dining hall for a delicious breakfast before we kick off our day.

• FAITHFULNESS IN YOUR FIELD W/ PASTOR RICHARD GLASS

  10:05 - 11:20  AM

  On Saturday morning we will begin the day with an exciting session “Faithfulness in Your Field” lead by our NAM Director, Pastor Richard Glass, focused on sharing the heart and burden for North American Missions. Following a time of inspiration and teaching we will have a Q&A with church planters to discuss the ups and downs, testimonies and trials of laboring in the field. This is going to be an awesome time of both instruction and discussion.

  We'll launch into the core of our day with a word from our featured retreat speaker Bro. Rick Lovall.

  In this final workshop style session, let's dig into the practicalities of how you can go home and implement tools to help you better steward your tangible and intangible resources.
