This is a 2-week program offering women and their partners an opportunity to gain knowledge and skills to labour and with calmness.

Women must be birthing at one of the Monash sites - Clayton, Casey or Dandenong to book this program, this includes those booked at Jessie MacPherson. If you are not booked to birth at a Monash Health site your booking will be cancelled and refunded.

Birth can and should be, a positive experience – one that you will always want to remember. This program is designed for both natural and caesarean birth, promoting POSITIVE birth and being prepared for whatever turns your birth may or may not take.

You prepare both your body and mind leading up to birth – so by the time birth comes around, you go into ‘automatic’ mode and less likely to go into that ‘fight or flight response".

You will have your birth partner also understanding what they do, and say.

Each day is 6 hours long and the 2 days includes:

Breathing Techniques
Light Touch Massage
Acupressure
Vocalisation
Self-hypnosis
Visualisation
Movement
Deep Relaxation Techniques

You will need to attend both sessions on the dates listed on your ticket.

The cost is $495, which includes the birthing woman and her partner.

We recommend you look and book as early as possible to avoid disappointment. And that you book a program that commences when you are approx. 26-32 weeks gestation.
