The Trans Comedian’s first-ever Newcastle show!

What started as a writing exercise turned into a global movement. For the past six months, Chris McAllister—AKA The Trans Comedian—has been posting a funny video a day on Instagram about life as a trans person. Those sharp, relatable, and wildly funny clips have racked up thousands of fans worldwide, proving that humor is one of the best ways to break down barriers.

Now, Chris is bringing their hit stand-up show "I Can Tell" to Newcastle as part of their tour - the first Australian regional tour by a trans masc comedian!

With a mix of rapid-fire one-liners, razor-sharp observations, and hilarious personal stories, Chris takes audiences on a journey through identity, absurdity, and the everyday moments that make life both ridiculous and joyful. "I Can Tell" is a comedy special packed with insight, warmth, and a whole lot of laughs.

★ “Terrific stand-up, replete with some needle-sharp one-liners that puncture all parochiality.” – Paul Gilchrist, Theatre Red

Chris made waves with their sold-out debut at the Sydney Fringe Festival, and now they're hitting the road, bringing their unique and fearless comedy to new audiences. Whether you’re trans, cis, or just love a damn good comedy show, this is one you won’t want to miss.
