I Have No Enemies
Event description
An original post-dramatic play about surveillance, data collection, and how we make sense of our place in
the digital world.
After stumbling upon a private voicemail full of sensitive information, four actors embark on a morally-ambiguous sociological experiment to untangle the reality of life online. Who are you trusting with your data? Who's behind the screens? What if it's a group of unhinged sociopaths like US?
It’s a cyberpunk detective story. It’s a maniacal Ted talk. It’s a live-action 90s hacker movie. And it’s all true. We think. We’re getting confused. And paranoid. We’re probably on a watchlist. Not that we’ve done anything wrong. We’ve nothing to hide. We have no enemies. Has anyone actually read the terms & conditions?
Confronting, enlightening and absurdly entertaining, I Have No Enemies is radical contemporary
theatre that decodes the uncomfortable truth of life through a lens.
Box Office and Bar open from 7 pm, performance begins at 7.30 pm. Latecomers may not be admitted. No interval.
Show warnings: Flashing lights, explicit language and simulated violence and weaponary.
I Have No Enemies is presented by Bare Witness Theatre Co., in partnership with Ainslie and Gorman Arts Centres, and
supported by the ACT Government through artsACT.
