Join me Saturday, May 3rd as I step back on the decks, recharged and ready to bring even more flavour to your 2025 dancefloor. After a little break, I’m buzzing to serve up fresh soundscapes and launch a new season of monthly dance experiences—kicking off autumn with an earlier start time: 6PM.

Why the bump? Because you deserve the real deal. I’ve been holding these dancefloors for over three years now, and I know you feel the difference when a skilled DJ guides the journey—seamless transitions, genre hopping, tempo shifting… It’s not just music, it’s an energy field. Something you feel in your bones.

We’re not just dancing—we’re moving as a tribe. A common[unity] riding waves of curated electronic music and gentle somatic prompts. This is your invitation to let go, find your flow, and move exactly as you were born to.

A few house rules (so the magic can flow):

• Let your body speak.
• Move with love. Respect the space—and each other.

Saturday, May 3rd:
Approx. 90 minutes of dance magic

Doors open: 5:45PM
Come early, settle in, connect with others, and soak up the vibes before we open our dance journey. We’ll move together, land in a closing circle, and wrap up by 8PM.

Pro tip: Please arrive early to find a park and honour the group container—we start on time!

What is Somatic Dance?
This is not your average dance class.
No choreography. No pressure. Just pure, embodied exploration.

Somatic Dance is an invitation to move freely—no matter your age, experience, or rhythm. It’s a space to express, release, and return to yourself through movement, music, and presence.

Here, we dance to feel—not to perform.
You’ll be gently held in a container that encourages deep listening to your body, emotions, and energy. There are no right steps—only your steps.
Come as you are. Move as you feel. Every cue is an invitation, never an obligation

Meet Your Guide and DJ: Natasha Mason
Ritual romancer. Space weaver. Dancefloor doula.
Natasha’s offerings are a blend of sacred somatic practice and soul-stirring beats, designed to help you drop in and light up. Every session is a love note to the body and a reclamation of your inner rhythm.

She’s trained in over 300 hours of somatic dance with mentors Sarsha Hope and Stephen Blase, and since 2022 has held over 40 somatic dance experiences and countless yoga journeys. DJ'd at NZ Spirit and Resolution Festivals, a local underground gig (shhhh) and private events.
