I Want a Better Catastrophe Screening and Discussion
Event description
The other day a friend sent Tim and I a link to a BRILLIANT one hour "flow chart lecture" by Andrew Boyd on everything climate crisis related. The flow chart covers - is it real, who is affected, how bad is it, what are the impacts, how do we respond . . . . .
It is not telling you what to do at all, but rather suggests some things to think about, and contains quotes from some brilliant thinkers in the area - from Joanna Macey ("Be of service not knowing whether you're a midwife or a hospice worker") to Meg Wheatley ("Give in without giving up") . . . and more.
It's hard to explain how good it was to watch . . . .
We found it reinforced so many thoughts we'd had over the years and our first thought was "let's get together with some people to watch it and have a chat"
So you are invited to do just that!
