Ian Shaw author talk

Ian W. Shaw will reveal the story of the leader of the Golden Gang, Frank Gardiner, mastermind behind the largest gold heist in Australian history. In tough country among a group of tough men, Gardiner was the toughest of them all. While he engaged in gunfights with police to evade capture, he was always courteous and could lay claim to never killing anyone, and not stealing from those who couldn't afford to be robbed.

MEET IAN W SHAW

Ian is an Australian author, based in Canberra, and The Golden Gang is his 12th book release. Most of his books have covered aspects of Australia and the Australian story that may have slipped through the cracks of history. Ian's books have all been well-received and have won a number of awards including ACT Book of the Year in its category for Pandemic, and Kansas Notable Book of 2024 for Into the Sunset.
