The College proudly acknowledges the outstanding contributions of two long-standing members of the John Paul College community, Mr Stephen Mapstone and Mr Ian Weatherly, who will conclude their employment with the College at the end of Term 4, 2025. As the College looks to strengthen community engagement further and preserve its proud history, we recognise the important legacy that Stephen and Ian have helped to build.

Over many years, both Stephen and Ian have generously given their time, passion and expertise to strengthen alumni connections and preserve the College’s rich heritage. Their dedication has helped nurture the spirit of connection that unites past and present members of our community.

Stephen has played a key role in supporting alumni engagement and celebrating the achievements of our graduates. At the same time, Ian has been instrumental in digitising the College’s archives and preserving our stories for future generations.

As the College continues to evolve its alumni engagement and archival management, both Stephen and Ian will transition from their current roles to volunteer capacities, where they will remain valued members of the College community. They will continue to support key events, reunions and community celebrations in the years ahead.

We invite all members of the community to join us in celebrating Stephen and Ian on Thursday, 13 November, at 5.00pm on the Stephen Mapstone Applied Design Deck.
