Come celebrate the launch of Inspired by Breathings first EP release "In Colour" by Jambe, all beings welcome.

Groove together with a 'free dance' (ecstatic) dance class facilitated by Jambe (IBB) before settling down with some light dahl and fresh fruits.

Jambe releases "In Colour" in 2023 through Inspired by Breathing, the first release for the Melbourne born music label.

The album is a culmination of time's and places, captured, recorded and created from friend's houses in Torquay, granny flats in Ireland, empty rooms in empty places, fireside sanctuaries and and caravans hidden in the bush lands of Victoria.

Taking inspiration from a colourful pallet of sounds, Jambe seeks to create a soothing emotive environment for the listener, to provide solace whist simultaneous exploring the boundaries of a sensitive ear.

Ranging from ambient to spoken word, sound scapes and emotive melodies, In Colour features warm and rich sounds to tell the tale of a wondering soul that resides in us all.

Inspired by Breathing operates on the land of the Wurundjeri and Boon Wurrung people of the Kulin Nation. We pay our respects to their elders past, present and emerging, and acknowledge that the struggle against colonial violence continues. Sovereignty has never been ceded. The venue is wheelchair accessible via Weston Street, although there is a small step that needs to be negotiated. There are no windows that are openable in the space but we will leave double doors open for airflow and the space is quite cavernous with high ceilings.
