"Ice Carving - The Story of a Composition"
Join us for a 3 course dinner featuring Barry Conyngham speaking on his important work "Ice Carving", illustrated with the help of virtuoso violinist Sophie Rowell, who was recently appointed to the Melbourne Conservatorium of Music.
Currently Artistic Director of the Melbourne Chamber Orchestra, Sophie served as Co-Concertmaster of the Melbourne Symphony Orchestra from 2015 to 2022. With a versatile career spanning solo performance, chamber music, orchestral leadership, and teaching, she has made a lasting mark in Australia and abroad.
