COO of National Intermodal Corporation Simon Ormsby will give an overview and update on the developments at the Beveridge Intermodal Precinct.

Simon is the Chief Commercial Officer for National Intermodal Corporation. He has over two decades of experience as a Senior Executive in the transport and logistics sector, where he has led company operations and commercial, strategy and corporate development, policy and advocacy, and stakeholder engagement.

As a member of the National Intermodal executive leadership team, Simon leads a multidisciplinary commercial team and is focused on delivering long-term commercial value, fostering strong industry relationships, and supporting the organisation's vision for nationally significant intermodal infrastructure and logistics outcomes. The involves driving commercial growth across National Intermodal’s intermodal terminal and property portfolios.

Prior to joining National Intermodal, Simon played a key role in the establishment and growth of Australian Rail Track Corporation including the development of regulatory and lease arrangements, negotiation of long-term customer contracts and attraction of significant investment projects.
