Event description

As part of the PAPERWORK exhibition in the Scrumptious Reads gallery this October, we are hosting two papercraft workshops where you can construct your own paper icosahedron (a 20-sided spherical polyhedron) out of lasercut circles from Alan Innes's distinctive architectural sketch illustrations.

These quirky spheres are an intriguing paper sculptural display piece, or you can add a ribbon to hang them like a bauble.

Created as a fusion of Alan's urban-sketch illustrations and Michelle's paper sculpture techniques, these icosahedrons are a great take-home memento of the PAPERWORK exhibition, and a unique Brisbane keepsake.

Two dates are available: either Saturday 11 October OR Saturday 25 October 2025. Both events run from 12-2pm and cost $40 per person, all materials provided.
