IDAHOBIT Flag Raising and Morning Tea

IDAHOBIT is the international day for celebration of advancements in LGBTIQA+ equality – a celebration of how far we’ve come.

It is also an opportunity to recognise that in 2026, LGBTIQA+ people in Australia still experience disproportionate rates of bullying, harassment and discrimination.

Guest Speaker - Reuben Whyte from Them Humans Inc

Reuben Whyte, 2025 Victorian Pride Awards Ally of the Year, will join us to talk about his experiences supporting young LGBTIQA+ people through art workshops in Surf Coast Shire and beyond.

LGBTIQA+ folks and allies are all warmly welcome.

This event is inclusive to all across the community, we invite women, men and gender diverse people of all ages to join us as we celebrate IDAHOBIT Day 2026. 

The venue is accessible for wheelchairs, hearing loops and noise cancelling headphones are also available upon request.
