IDDP 2025: Accessible Civil Life Leadership Workshop: Become a Disabled Councillor, Magistrate among others
Event description
This workshop is part of an 'International Day of Disabled People: A Bristol Celebration' event being held from 10.30am - 4pm on Saturday 6th December.
What we are doing
This workshop, being hosted by a local Disabled magistrate and a local School Governor and ex-Councillor, is to make sure that Disabled people are aware of the civil life leadership roles that Disabled people can take on. Disabled people have a voice, it needs to be heard and taken on board and civil life leadership roles are a way to do this.
Who is it for
This is primarily for Disabled people (adults) however allies can attend if they should so choose. The workshop will be designed with Disabled people in mind however.
