IDDP 2025: How to be an Ally and Support Disabled Leadership
Event description
This workshop is part of an 'International Day of Disabled People: A Bristol Celebration' event being held from 10.30am - 4pm on Saturday 6th December.
What we are doing
This workshop is being held to explore what roles allyship plays in Disabled people's liberation. How to understand Disability, how to identify barriers to participation that Disabled people may experience and how to recognise your own privilege and how you might use that to amplify Disabled people's voices will all be covered.
Who is it for
This is primarily for allies to Disabled people although Disabled people are more than welcome to attend to learn how to support their Disabled people community.
