IDEA Report Launch: Kids KiwiSaver

The Institute for Democratic and Economic Analysis (IDEA) invites you to the launch of a new and exciting proposal for a Kids KiwiSaver scheme.

Our latest report explores the potential benefits from enrolling all children in KiwiSaver and helping parents to contribute to the accounts. This could be an innovative way to address the growing concerns about New Zealand's lack of savings, and help deepen our capital markets and increase investment in domestic ventures.

At the launch, IDEA research director Max Rashbrooke will outline how Kids KiwiSaver could also be a vehicle for economic opportunity and security, creating a financial foundation for young people who might otherwise enter adulthood without any such support.
