Idea to Business (Perth) - Begin with the End in Mind!
Description
From Idea to Business: Begin with the End in Mind
Most innovators end up pitching an idea, not a business. The idea is often excellent. But an idea is not something a customer can buy, an investor can back, or a partner can rely on - and the gap between the two is where most good ideas stall. Closing that gap is not one big leap. It is a handful of first steps, taken in the right order.
This 90-minute workshop is for innovators and early-stage founders who have an idea and are trying to figure out how to convert it to a business.
What we'll cover
Basics
Why being SMART matters and the dangers of assumptions.
Understanding what you want, and how that shapes the business
Your personal goals dictate the form your business should take. Licensing, lifestyle business, high-growth venture, or something else - each suits a different founder. Get this wrong and you will spend years building something you do not want.
The three pillars of a credible business
Unfortunately, it's not just about your tech, or your customers, or how you'll deliver. It's about all these and how they interact.
Bringing it together
It's action plan time! Identify the key actions you need to take over the next 100 days
Who should come
Innovators, technical founders, and anyone with an idea they are serious about. No business background assumed. No jargon, no consultant speak.
