Description

Frontline workers play a critical role in identifying when legal issues arise and connecting clients with the right support. This practical session will equip professionals with strategies to recognise legal challenges, understand available pathways, and support clients safely through the legal system.

The session is designed to be interactive and discussion-based, providing an opportunity to share experiences, build confidence, and develop practical strategies that can be applied in everyday practice.

What you will learn:

  • How to recognise legal issues clients may be experiencing

  • When and how to refer clients to access legal supports

  • Practical strategies for supporting clients to engage with legal help

  • What the referral process looks like at WLSQ and how clients receive support

  • Tools to translate legal knowledge into everyday practice

Catering will be provided. Please provide any dietary requirements in your registration.
If you have any questions or queries, please contact RRR Program Coordinator - Holly - rrr@wlsq.org.au

Who should attend:
This session is tailored for service providers across a range of sectors, including social services, healthcare, and community support.
