Event description

Join us for an exclusive event tailored specifically for veterinarians and veterinary nurses, proudly hosted by Animal Emergency Service (AES) and Veterinary Specialist Services (VSS).

Don’t miss this opportunity to elevate your diagnostic confidence and clinical decision-making with two practical, case-based seminars—covering essential skills in recognising common eye conditions and managing acute abdominal emergencies in dogs.

This event features speaker Dr Johana Premont from VSS and Dr Ze Yann Song from AES.

Identifying Common Eye Conditions and Knowing When to Refer

Not every squint, discharge, or cloudy eye is straightforward-and missing key signs can mean the difference between saving vision and losing it. In this practical, eye-opening seminar, you'll learn how to confidently identify common ophthalmic conditions and recognise when it's time to refer.

Tackling the Acute Abdomen in Dogs

Join us for a high-impact, case-driven seminar designed for veterinary professionals who want to sharpen their emergency diagnostic and treatment skills. From GDV to septic peritonitis, we'll explore the most critical causes of acute abdomen in dogs - what to look for, how to act fast, and when to cut.

What you'll gain:

  • Rapid triage strategies for abdominal emergencies

  • Diagnostic tips using imaging and lab work

  • Surgical vs. medical decision-making

  • Real-world case discussions

Whether you're in general practice or emergency care, this seminar will leave you better prepared for those high-stakes moments when every second counts.
