Identity Protection Info Session at Warringah Mall Library
Event description
This session is in-person at Warringah Mall Library, Tuesday 7 May 1.30-2.30pm
Your identity is important. Let’s protect it!
Identity crime happens when a scammer gains access to your personal information without your consent. Each year more than 150,000 Australians are victims of identity crime.
ID Support NSW is the nation-leading identity support unit working to minimise the risks associated with identity theft. The session will strengthen your cyber resilience and arm you with the skills they need to stay secure online.
The free, 60-minute interactive session will be presented live on a large digital screen with Q & A.
Free, bookings required.
Participants will learn how to:
- Spot a scam
- Run a credit check
- Recognise the importance of creating and maintaining strong passwords, and
- Finish with a Q & A with the ID Support team.
