Event description

Fremantle is a city of literature and a place of stories.

Many of those stories are captured within Fremantle's prized heritage buildings while others are being newly written in extraordinary renovations and bold new constructions emerging across the city.

As Fremantle continues to evolve, how do we navigate our desire to honour and preserve the past whilst also building for the future?

Our panel of experts discuss the challenges and the opportunities. With architect Matthew Crawford, Garde Hotel Director of Hospitality Tim Buckton and heritage consultant Gena Binet.

Presented in association with Emily Taylor Bar & Kitchen
