Ignatian Reflections - An Introduction for Church Leaders and Chaplains.
Event description
Ignatian Reflections - an introduction for church leaders and chaplains
Do you know what it's like to love your ministry work, while also struggling with the frenetic pace and challenges that often come with it? You're not alone! What might it look like to create some intentional space for reflection and contemplation in a world where that doesn't just "happen"?
Ignatian spirituality is a time-honoured Christian tradition that has served in this way over centuries, grounded in the belief that God is present in the world and active in our lives. Join with a small group of other church leaders and chaplains as we experience some reflective exercises at an introductory level, and cultivate your own practice for the future.
A series of four evenings that build upon each other - you are welcome to attend the series at a discounted rate, or a single session.
We will begin with a simple shared meal at 6pm and the exercise will begin at 7pm, with an option to attend from 6pm with the meal, or just for the exercise from 7pm. This will be a child-free, small group experience, so attendance will be capped to enable this.
The Anchorage Collective thanks Carey Forrestdale for their generosity in the provision of the venue.
