Ignite Their Futures Information Session “A Parent’s Guide to Support Student Success”
Murray Mallee LLEN in partnership with headspace Swan Hill and Head Start are facilitating a FREE information session for parents/guardians with the aim to educate the community about work experience, Structured Workplace Learning (SWL) placements, School-Based Apprenticeships & Traineeships (SBATs), work and study resources along with the pathways available to their young people and how they can support their children in gaining industry experience and work-related skills to promote and encourage strong future career pathway outcomes from school to work.
The information session will coincide with headspace “Work and Study Month” in March which is a national event shining a light on the important link between work, study and the important contribution to young people's mental health and wellbeing.
